EXTERIOR: Precise fit and finish! The gaps are consistently even,
and the paint is slick as can be. It's like pulling a Maraschino
cherry straight from the jar. The glass is crystal clear, and the
trim is sparkling. The handles, emblems, and bumpers look new. It
sits proudly on staggered polished Rally wheels. They are 15x8
Corvette wheels with meaty BFGoodrich radial tires.
INTERIOR: If you were impressed by the outside, the inside will not
disappoint you either. Fresh, clean interior. The door panels look
new, and the trim shines nicely. Rarely will you find a 66' with
power windows however this one has them! The dash is clean and
complete, a new pad was installed. All the SS gauges look fresh,
even the knee knocker tachometer. The radio was replaced with a
retro stereo and 6x9 speakers in back. The front bucket and rear
seats have been restored to new and equipped with front and rear
seat belts. The headliner, and carpet fits seamlessly and looks
replaced as well. Key highlight features include the SS center
console with clock and Hurst shifter, as well as the SS sport
steering wheel.
ENGINE COMPARTMENT: How about a show quality engine bay that's
sitting with a beautiful period correct 396ci - 350HP big block!
This gorgeous big block is completed with a Weiand intake, 4 barrel
Holley carb, HEI ignition and long tube headers. It's dressed in
stock chrome valve covers and air cleaner. Correct type power
steering with remote reservoir. Upgraded with modern air
conditioning and heat system. Also upgraded with power brakes and a
dual reservoir master cylinder. Completed with modern power
steering, power brakes, and air conditioning system. It is a very
tidy and proper engine compartment. It has correct fan shroud,
squirters are hooked up, it has hood insulation.
TRUNK COMPARTMENT: Under the lid has been painted gloss red, as
well as the jamb. Correct jack stickers added. The weatherstripping
was replaced and looks new. The floor finished in a nice spatter
and lined with a trunk mat. The trunk is completed with a matching
full size spare wheel and tire.
UNDERSIDE: Nice clean undercarriage. Fully restored and still looks
fresh! The front bushings, shocks and springs were all replaced.
The rear has air shocks that look new, boxed control arms and a
swaybar. Converted to disc in front and rebuilt drum in the rear.
The parking brake cables are hooked up. The fuel tank and lines
look replaced. The full dual exhaust is still shiny and flows into
dual Hi Flow performance mufflers. Looking up at the motor it's
clean Chevy Orange and has a high torque starter. Original numbers
matching Muncie 4-speed manual transmission and a H.D. scatter
shield. Rebuilt Rye Valley 12 bolt 3.73 rear end has been installed
for performance! Looking up at the floors they appear to be rust
free original. Clean coat of satin black paint.
SERVICE: This Chevelle went through our shop without needing much!
The brake lights were repaired, and new door bumpers installed.
