The factory Red finish is in excellent condition and 17" aluminum alloys mount Michelin performance radials. The interior is as nice as any luxury car every produced. It utilizes a forged crank, aluminum pistons and sequential MPI. The DOHC design employs 24-valves in conjunction with Porsche's Variocam timing. The powerplant is backed by a Getrag six-speed manual RWD transaxle. Steering is power-assisted and 4-piston ABS power brakes utilize 12.5/11.8" ventilated discs. Front suspension is MacPherson strut paired with a multi-link design in the rear. The Carrera is a true performance automobile but there is no sane way to approach its limits on the street.
