Combining 80s quirkiness with modern running gear, this sleeper
build is very fast, and a ton of fun. A good friend built this S10
Blazer a few years ago and had a lot of fun with it, including Long
Hauling the 2022 Hot Rod Power Tour. My friend passed a few months
ago and I'm selling this on behalf of his widow. Originally
purchased as a 63k mile survivor 1987 S10 Blazer with a V6 2.8, he
replaced the drivetrain with a 5.3 LS and 8LFD transmission from an
05 Silverado. The motor was gone through before installation (build
pics available), added an LSS front accessory kit, custom cooling
system, custom dual exhaust, tuning, etc. The body was in great
condition with typical paint fading common to 80s GM cars, so it
was re-sprayed in the original blue color about 2 years ago. Paint
is driver quality and shows nicely with a good detaining. The
original blue tweed interior is in excellent condition as it was a
well-kept 63k mile vehicle when acquired. An updated stereo system
was added and the AC system was retained and matched to the LS
compressor, etc. The folding rear seat gives you the option of
hauling people or gear. With some minor clean up and a few tweaks,
this Blazer is ready to go back to the show circuit when it
belongs. There are probably very few S10 Blazers out there that are
done this well and are this fast -- this is a great opportunity.
