Vehicle Description
Introduced in 1927, the new Ford car was so revolutionary that
Henry decided to start all the way at the beginning of the alphabet
again and call it the Model A. The new Model A sold like hotcakes
at a school bake sale, and Ford owned the low-price car market. As
the masses flocked to the Model A, Mr. Ford, ever the tinkerer,
refined his creation and offered improvements and new body styles
to fit every purpose year after year. The Victoria sedan was
introduced for the 1930 selling season and was the most luxurious
Ford creation to date short of a Phaeton. The doors were widened
for ease of entry and exit. The font seats folded forward to make
entry into the plush rear bench a snap, and the rear of the body
was elongated to make for storage space behind the rear seats. The
rear windows rolled up and down, while pull down window shades on
the sides and rear lent rear seat occupants' privacy for whatever
reason it may become necessary. Wait, now I wonder what effect the
Model A had on birth rates in the 20's, someone should look that
up. But I digress, this gorgeous Model A Victoria Sedan pictured
here has received a full frame off restoration. It is finished in
gorgeous two-tone burgundy and black, with bright red wire wheels
wrapped in wide whitewall tires. The interior features soft striped
tan broadcloth seating, a full padded headliner and the classic
OOOOOGA horn in the steering wheel. Under the hood is a 201CI, 40hp
flat head 4 cylinder bolted to a 3-speed manual transmission and
while the horsepower is paltry, this little A still cruises
comfortably at 50mph. Just think how awesome it would be to go on a
long back road cruise in your Model A and live like it's 1930 all
over again. Don't miss out on this beauty, call Brian at
