Tremec 5-speed manual transmission, Ford 8.8 independent rear
suspension, knock-off Halibrand style wheels, radial tires,
Metallic Blue exterior, Wimbledon White stripe package, scooped
hood, bumper jacks, black leather bucket seat interior, authentic
style Smiths Gauge package, working windshield wipers, tonneau
cover, car cover, and folding convertible top that fits in the
trunk. The Superformance MKIII is the only Cobra Replica built
under license from Carroll Shelby Licensing Inc. CHASSIS:
Jig-welded parallel ladder frame of heavy wall 2" x 4" rectangular
steel tubing with large diameter outriggers. The frame incorporates
front and rear crumple zones. The door hinge, steering column, and
windshield pickup points are incorporated into the main chassis.
BODY: Hand-laid fiberglass panels with steel tube reinforcements in
all openings. Where the body points carry loads, they are
reinforced with steel bars or panels. The body is bonded to the
chassis and is completely non-stressed. Factory painted in base
coat and clear coat urethane finish. FRONT & REAR SUSPENSION: The
front sports fully independent unequal-length A-Arms with
adjustable coils over telescopic shock absorbers, while the rear is
also independent unequal-length A-Arms, with fabricated hub
carriers and coil-over shock absorbers. INSTRUMENTATION AND
CONTROLS: Original style instruments specially manufactured by
Smiths of England, fitted to original S/C and Roadster layouts.
Hand-crafted shifter and handbrake. INTERIOR: Hand-made seats
upholstered in German specification automotive leather. Fully
carpeted floor, center console, sides, and rear firewall. We offer
