The spent fuel is passed through a set of Hedman aluminized headers, into a custom bent dual exhaust that features a hand-fabricated X-pipe that rumbles through a set of high-flowing performance mufflers. Power is transferred back to the differential through a GM Turbo-Hydramatic 3-speed transmission outfitted with a 2600 rpm stall convertor. Under the hood, the engine compartment is clean and nearly show-ready featuring an aluminum-finned air cleaner and Chevrolet Performance valve covers. The fan belts and pulleys have been updated to a serpentine belt system with underdrive billet pulleys. An aluminum radiator with dual cooling fans keeps this hot setup cool. This build was based on a very solid rust-free body as exhibited in the photos of the underbody. The body features a custom two-tone black and tan paint job that really sets this Camaro apart from other 3rd-generation Camaros. A fiberglass cowl induction hood is a nice styling cue that calls out the Camaro heritage to the 1st generation cars when the cowl hood was first introduced. Equipped with T-tops this car is a lot of fun to drive with the sun on your face and the wind in your hair! Inside the cockpit of this Camaro is full of custom touches.
