Available for sale is this custom 1969 Pontiac Firebird Convertible
features an overhauled 400ci bored 0.038 over with JE Pistons and
Eagle rods, a Lunati cam (0.049 lift int/exh Duration 230/230
0.050), Pontiac Nodular Crank, Edelbrock Troker II intake manifold,
Kauffman racing aluminum D-port cylinder heads (77cc, flow 260 cfm
valves 2.11 int 1.66 exh), Doug's headers, Holly dual sync
distributor, and Holley Sniper Fuel injection. Helping to put all
of that to the pavement is a 5-speed Tremec transmission, a Moser
12 bolt 3.73 Posi rear, Competition Engineering traction bars, and
Hotchkis front and rear sway bars. The engine bay is painted nicely
with gloss black helps show off the billet aluminum value covers,
air cleaner and billet aluminum radiator with electric fan. As if
what is under the hood isn't enough to catch your eye the exterior
of this Firebird was just completely refinished in Limelight Green
metallic. The new Black convertible top operates properly with the
touch of a button. The exterior is equipped with a dual scoop hood
and a unique feature of the Firebird was the exterior tachometer
mounted on top of the hood. The body represents well and fits
right. Equipped with power steering and power brakes. The chrome
and trim are all in great shape. The inside is in extremely good
condition, finished in a beautiful dark green vinyl. The seats,
carpets, door panels, and wood-grain center console are all period
correct. Additional interior features a 3 spoke 1969 Trans Am
steering wheel with tilt steering column and factory original dash
and Auto-Meter gauges cluster (Oil, Water & Volts) mounted nicely
on center console. Riding on redline tires with 15" steel wheels
with dog dish hub caps. The fit and finish on this Firebird is on
point. This Pontiac Firebird runs and drives as good as it looks
