RPM Motorcars is pleased to bring you this 1972 Mercedes-Benz 350SL
Roadster finished in a beautiful Gold exterior over Cream Leather
Interior. This 350SL was originally purchased new in 1972 by sitcom
star Ozzie Nelson as a anniversary present for his wife, she drove
the car up until 1994. Later passed on to her son, where he enjoyed
it for a couple years and later sold it in 1997. It's been with the
same owner since 1997, now he's decided to sell it. This is a
3-Owner car that mechanically drives great and rides very well
given the age and milage. Although the miles are on the higher
side, the engine was rebuilt 8 years ago. Since the rebuild the car
has been driven about 7,000 miles without any issues. The
first-year 1972 cars were dubbed 350SL in keeping with the model
designation for Europe, despite actually carrying a 4.5-liter V8
under the hood. This V8 produces a healthy 230 horsepower, the
power is delivered via a 3-Speed Automatic Transmission. This is a
well maintained 350SL with a rich history, come in and check it out
for yourself or give us a call with any questions you may have.
