1970 Plymouth GTX, 8-cyl. 440cid/375hp 4bbl Hi-Performance. Ram Air
induction hood. A new -for-1970 crankshaft (still forged-steel, but
heavier duty) & new forged connecting rods. External balancing was
achieved via a new vibration damper and flywheel (4 speed) or this
car an automatic (torque converter) were used. Moly-rings & cast
pistons. A dual-breaker (dual points) distributor provided spark,
and low-restriction exhaust manifolds to create back flow pressure
- building the compression in the block. 727 auto-flight automatic
transmission. Heavy-duty 8�-inch rear end with 3.23 gears was
standard, and Sure Grip (limited-slip) optional.
