1959 RENAULT 4CV, RECENTLY OUT OF 55 YEARS OF DRY STORAGE IN ARIZONA!
This super cool little Renault 4CV started life in the US in Texas. It was used by travelling preachers there. It later found it's way to Phoenix, Arizona where it sat in a dry building for 47 years before an old man from Sierra Vista, down in Southern Arizona on the Mexican border bought it and brought it to his garage where it would spend the next 7 years before I bought it and brought it back to Phoenix again. He was 91 and on oxygen and could not work on the car anymore.
It is a US version with the 7" headlights, roll down windows in the front doors (in Europe they had sliding windows), MPH speedometer etc.
The body is absolutely 100% rust fee and beautiful. The old man had the car painted and while he thought it was a concours paint job, it really was not. The car needs a light sanding and fresh paint before being assembled again.
The engine has been rebuilt and is ready to be installed.
If you like to weld on rusted cars this one is not for you but if you want a super cool little French car, a 4 door car that is with suicide doors up front, 4 cylinder water cooled engine, 3 speed manual transmission, rack and pinion steering (original for the car) and a modern car in general, you will not find a better one for my price.
The 4CV is in Phoenix, Arizona and it is sold with a clear Arizona title.
