This 1957 Chevy custom wagon is being offered for sale from a private collection in Scottsdale Arizona. It has just received a complete mechanical restoration with less than 300 actual miles driven since its completion. It features a small block 350 crate motor from GM.with an automatic transmission. During the mechanical restoration, the following items were addressed. New dual exhaust system from manifolds back, front end and steering components were replaced, new tie rod ends, ball joints, bushings, idler arm and center link assembly. A complete four-wheel disc brake package was added with powder coated calipers to match body color, along with all new tires and a Gen IV vintage air conditioning system was added for climate control, Further, dual radiator cooling fans were also installed . The interior of the car was also treated to a restoration. It began by being stripped to bare metal inside. Sound Deeder was applied to the floor and roof area and finished with deluxe carpet kit. The front seat springs cushions and covers were addressed along with door panel inserts, headliner and sunvisor replacement. It has a correct upgraded stereo with built-in speakers, a correct vintage clock, new seatbelts, front and back and finished off with full surround window tinting. This car is extremely reliable and runs exceptionally well. An absolute pleasure to drive and show.
