Vehicle Description
The infamous F-Series of trucks by Ford was introduced way back in
1948 and are currently in there fourteenth generation spanning over
seven decades....That might seem like a long time, however when you
consider that the F-150 has been at the top of the best selling
list for much of them then, Ford might be right in saying if "if
its not broke, don't fix it"...More of a marketing campaign anymore
considering that the evolution of these trucks has obviously come a
long way. This particular super low mileage example was bought new
on the Keweenaw Peninsula in the Upper Peninsula of MI. It is a
two-owner vehicle that in my opinion with all the right checked
boxes like the tried and true 302 5.0 Liter engine, 4x4 and a
manual 5-speed transmission and the regular cab still making it
appear like a true truck instead of a soccer mom ride. The body is
in very good condition showing only a very couple minor surface
rust spots on the fuel doors in the same exact spot. The older
gentleman that purchased this rig did put the dual exhaust on, and
removed the rear bumper and that is no longer with the truck. The
cab lights and aluminum wheels are a nice touch as well. The
interior is in very good condition with no smells or stains. The
truck starts, runs, shifts and brakes very well. The underside has
the typical crusty surface rust on components but no rot or holes.
This thing is a bumper and a underbody cleaning and painting away
from being 40K truck in my opinion. Everything works as it should
including the A/C. These things are getting super hard to find with
these miles.
