Vehicle Description
While having an untouched classic car is always awesome, when it
comes to a car like this 1970 Chevrolet Chevelle SS Tribute 502
Restomod, sometimes the updated version is even more fun than the
original. One look at the black respray with white stripes sitting
on American Racing Torq Thrust wheels and it is clear this car is
something special. The Hotchkis suspension kit complete with
tubular A-arms, sway bars, and trailing arms all allow this
Chevelle to have a perfectly aggressive stance from any angle.
Inside, the updated and upgraded interior shows off its black
coated fabric with new seat covers, door panels, and dash pad. The
fully custom AutoMeter Ultra-Lite II dash panel sets this car apart
with its six white-faced gauges, displaying all the pertinent info
you need for a ride to the grocery store, or cross country.
As much fun as the original Chevelle could be under the hood, this
restomod comes packing with a monstrous 502 cubic-inch big block
Chevy, complete with a serpentine belt kit, single Holley
four-barrel carb, Hedman shorty headers feeding into an H-pipe and
then out through a glorious sounding FlowMaster exhaust. From that
big block, power gets funneled through a Tremec TKO600 five-speed
manual (complete with billet shifter), onto a Ford nine-inch rear
end, and finally out to a set of 275/40ZR-20 rear rubber
(245/45ZR-18s up front).
