Have fun cruising around and turning heads with this awesome satin-black 1974 Chevrolet Blazer.
Equipped with power steering, power disc brakes with rear disc conversion, tilt column, A/C, small block 350 engine, aftermarket intake, carburetor, headers, and dual exhaust. Dana 44 front axle with Selectro lock-out hubs, 12 bolt corporate rear axle with 3.73:1 gear ratios, Goodyear Wrangler tires, and custom black alloy wheels.
I converted it to an automatic overdrive 2 years ago with a rebuilt 700R4/208 combination along with the steering column, tunnel cover, and transfer case shifter out of a 1986 Blazer. It was done professionally, looks great, and operates perfectly. I have the original rebuilt SM465/205 combination with driveshafts, bell housing, clutch assembly, shifters, and flywheel as well if you are interested in it.
All powertrain components have been rebuilt and are in excellent working condition.
The sound system consists of a Pioneer head with an amp, multiple speakers, and a kicker box. It really sounds great.
The body panels and tub were replaced during a frame-off restoration in the 90’s and it still maintains its original full convertible roof. Since then it hasn’t been beaten on and off road other than the occasional cruise down the beach. Not that it’s incapable of doing so, that’s just not my thing.
It’s not in perfect condition but I’m not asking for perfect condition money for it. There are a couple small dings in it, both of the door panels have a small crack in them and it needs the high and low-pressure A/C lines made to get the A/C system working. All of which can be done very economically if you choose to do so.
Otherwise, it’s just a really nice, fun-to-drive truck that gets attention wherever I go with it. I hate to see it go but it’s time for someone else to enjoy this beautiful beast.
