Vehicle Description
When is a Porsche 911 not always a Porsche 911? We have such a
chameleon at MotoeXotica Classic Cars. This one of a kind Porsche
was done by a retired Aero Space Engineer in approx 2003-2004. The
engine was rebuilt by Motor Meister at a cost of $7,500.00. There
are approx 8,000 miles on the motor and build since restoration. We
have receipts in hand for $23,000.00 which does not include the
body work conversion or paint work. Also with added air
conditioning.
Dressed in Guards Red with basecoat and clearcoat, the car's paint
and trim are in overall excellent order. The car's custom
fiberglass bodywork is straight and solid, the engine bay is
extremely tidy and the body-colored bumpers fit tightly to the
body. There is a black canvas top with matching boot cover that is
in great shape. The overall effect of the bodywork is to make the
car resemble a Porsche 959.
This car rolls on BFGoodrich g-force sport radials, size 225/50R16
in front and Goodyear Eagle GT radials, size 255/50R16 in back.
Each tire is mounted on a rare Compomotive two-piece racing wheel.
The wheels and tires are all in very good order.
The car has the following new Porsche OEM parts - heater; blower
motor; carpets and embroidered Porsche floor mats; MSD ignition
module with rev limiter for racing; 60-amp alternator; fuel pump;
OEM clutch; pressure plate; bearing; flywheel; SSI stainless-stee
exhaust; stainless-steel heat exchanges; new suspension bushings;
Magnaflow twin mufflers; brake calipers; rotors; pads;
stainless-steel brake lines; and master cylinder.
Out back is a rebuilt 2.7L float, air-cooled six-cylinder engine
with rebuilt twin Zenith Solex carburetors. Backing this motor is a
901 race five-speed manual transmission. Driver convenience
features include classic air-conditioning, power windows and power
seats. The engine rebuild specifications are from Motor Masters of
Downing, California.
Inside, the car's black interior is in overall very good order. The
black buckets seats look great, as does the matching carpet. A
four-spoke Momo steering wheel faces the driver. A red instrument
panel with black dashpad and trim and VDO gauges looks fantastic,
as do the black inner door panels. A console-mounted shifter and a
JVC stereo with Bluetooth completes the interior.
Documentation includes build receipts, a maintenance manual plus
new and used spare parts.
If you have ever wanted a Porsche 911 that looks more like
Porsche's 959, this is the air-cooled Porsche for you. Visit
MotoeXotica Classic Cars today and see it up close and personal for
