There were 3785 of these vehicles individually hand produced and
sold worldwide between 1970 and 1972. The car had less than 43,00
miles prior to the ground-up restoration. The restoration was
completed in 2020. The car was completely and methodically
disassembled, parts restored or replaced with new, painted and
reassembled. The engine was sent to TT engines, a company that
rebuilds Jaguar engines for race cars. The rebuilt engine added 30
to 50 more hp and eliminated the need for lead additive.
The engine was 265 hp with the original 3 barrel SU carburetor. New
SU 3-barrel carburetor was installed on the engine to bring the hp
to 295-315hp.
