STK 3698 1997 Ford Mustang SVT Cobra
This 1997 Mustang SVT Cobra was the beneficiary of Ford's efforts
to improve the performance of the GT model. Mustang Cobra
performance upgrades for 1996-98 models included a new 4.6L engine
and HD suspension components. This Mustang Cobra has received a
respray of Chrome Yellow (non-original color) that is in overall
good condition. Exterior accents include a rear decklid spoiler,
side rocker panel skirts and 17" American Muscle alloy wheels that
mount Atlas performance radials. The factory Black leather interior
is in very good condition with features that include cold A/C,
Cobra gauge package, dual front airbags, tinted power windows,
power locks, keyless entry, tilt wheel and JVC AM/FM/CD sound
system. The Cobra is powered by Ford's 4.6L SOHC V8 (V-code) with
EFI injection rated at 305bhp. This powerplant has a cast iron
block with aluminum heads and has been fitted with a BBK Cold Air
intake. It is backed by a 5-speed manual transmission and stock
differential. The chassis is equipped with power steering, power
4-wheel disc brakes, HD front sway bar and front end shock tower
