This 1972 Corvette coupe has been carefully restored (2012) to
virtually original condition. It does not appear that this car has
been in a fight - all of the gaps are straight and true. The body
was meticulously prepped and professional resprayed Ontario Orange
Firemist, the original '987' paint code. It is equipped with
removable T-tops and removable rear window (feature of '68-'72
models). Chrome accent pieces (chrome bumpers) are in excellent
condition and there is a luggage rack on the rear deck. The
restored 'Deluxe' Saddle Tan leather interior is in very good
condition. Dashboard, door cards and carpeting are all outstanding.
It is equipped with A/C (needs TLC), tinted windows and good rubber
door/window seals. Factory gauges work well and tunes are provided
by an aftermarket AM/FM/Cassette sound system. Under the hood, is a
350ci engine that the owner states is numbers matching. The
small-block was professionally rebuilt (2012) and it appears to be
as-delivered, equipped with a GM intake, Quadrajet 4V carburetor
and factory exhaust manifolds. The powerplant is backed by a
3-speed automatic transmission and posi-traction differential
w/street gearing. A solid chassis has power steering and power
4-piston caliper disc brakes. Excellent Nexen performance radials
are mounted on correct 15x8" GM Ralley wheels w/centers and trim
