61,435 actual mile survivor! When you look at this car it is
obvious it has always been treated with tender loving care. A total
sweetheart of a car, it looks and functions like new. All original
with just 1 repaint and typical maintenance. It is Pontiac
Historical documented and numbers matching. This is from a
collector we have done business with for years. His cars are always
dialed in and exceptional.
Known for its aggressive stance, shaker hood, spoilers, and the
iconic "Screaming Chicken" decal on the hood. The 1975 Trans Am was
the first to feature a new wraparound rear window.
EXTERIOR: This 1975 Pontiac Firebird has clean, original metal. All
the panels and gaps are straight and line up great. It's repainted
1 time in its original Cameo White and it has a mirror finish. The
trim, glass, and weatherstrips look great. The shaker scoop was
upgraded with a functional flapper door. It has its original 15
inch Rally II wheels, they look great and have never been
restored!
INTERIOR: The black interior is original and excellent through and
through. The upper and lower door panels are excellent. It's
finished in traditional Trans Am style with front bucket seats,
floor shifter and machine turned aluminum dash panel surrounding
the rally gauges. The Formula wheel is mounted to a tilt column. It
also has the optional Am/Fm radio with separate 8-track player,
both are working! The carpet looks new and fits nicely, as well as
the headliner.
ENGINE COMPARTMENT: Under the hood of this beauty is a number
matching 400 ci. V-8. The optional power steering, power brakes,
and air conditioning make this Trans Am an exceptional driving
machine. Everything looks clean, proper, and correct. You'll be
proud to pop the hood and show it off.
TRUNK COMPARTMENT: Under the trunk lid and jambs have been painted
smooth and glossy. New weather stripping was added. The trunk has
the correct paint finish with a nice, padded trunk liner mat. The
original spare wheel/tire with mount and jack are still in place
and have never been used.
UNDERSIDE: Very nice looking original underside. It has been
maintained and cleaned up. The floors and frame rails are solid
rust free metal. The suspension has been gone through; shocks and
springs look fresh in front. Upgraded air shocks in the back, Disc
brakes in front with new rotors, pads, bearings, and seals. The
e-brake is hooked up. The correct dual exhaust with H pipe into a
singular transverse muffler with dual tips looks in great shape.
Looking up at the motor, it's very clean and dry. Mated to a period
correct Turbo 350 auto transmission. Correct Posi-traction 10 bolt
rear end, fluid just changed. The floors and frame look super solid
rust free, prepped painted black and extremely clean.
SERVICE: Noted after a shop inspection, the reverse lights are
inoperable, and there is an exhaust leak developing. Consigner
selling AS IS!
There are other Trans Ams out there, but they're not this one! It's
exceptionally clean throughout top to bottom. Just sitting in the
car gives you a satisfying feeling and that's why we brought it
into the museum. This is top notch quality grade ready for a new
owner. You can have some fun driving it to some garage sales to
build your 8-track collection!
A significant amount of effort goes into fact checking. What I am
offering is my professional impression of the vehicle. Our salesmen
are happy to assist with descriptions and making sure your
questions are answered. One great suggestion is letting us do a
walk around video that explains the car's condition in detail.
**These cars are displayed in a museum. If interested in a
particular car, make an appointment with a salesman to see that
car. Without an appointment there is an admission fee to enter the
showroom. If you buy a car, your admission will be refunded, and
you will be given a 1 year membership.
