The 1959 Chevrolet Apache, A 1/2 Ton Pickup Or Light Duty As It Was
Commonly Known, Came In One Of Two Body Styles: The Stepside, Or
The Fleetside. The Latter Of The Two, Was Cleaner Looking With A
Virtual Straight Line From Hood To End Of Bed, And No Indentations.
This Resulted In A Cleaner Looking Truck That Was More Aerodynamic
And Lighter Which Resulted In Fuel Savings.
The Task Force Series Chevrolet Trucks Built From 1955-1959 Have
Long Been Popular With Collectors, Hot Rodders And Light-Truck
Enthusiasts. Task Force Truck Interiors Were Stylish But Simple:
Rubber Floor Mats, Bench Seats, Etc.. For The Most Part, Parts
Availability For Task Force Trucks Is Excellent, Making Them More
Approachable.
