This 2003 Chevrolet Corvette 50th Anniversary Edition Coupe brings
a little extra sauce, and it's available now in the MaxMotive
Pittsburgh Showroom. The 5.7L LS1 V8 engine was fortified with a
BTR Stage 3 cam, 799/243 heads, and FAST 36lb injectors. The
results were tuned and Dyno-tested by Steel City Performance. Their
Custom Street & Dyno Tune calibration provides desirable cold
start, hot start, idle, driveability and, of course, Wide Open
Throttle performance. Tube headers and performance mufflers mean
the car speaks with authority. The 4-speed automatic transmission
was treated to a Circle D 3200 rpm stall converter and a TCI trans
cooler. As a C5 Corvette, the car is fully equipped with power
accessories and air conditioning, plus a Sony touch screen working
with the Bose sound system. A new for '03 Active Handling
Suspension with Magnetic Selective Ride Control lets you dial in
the car's handling characteristics to the conditions or to your
liking. The exterior features special Anniversary Red paint and
50th anniversary badging. A custom touch is a set of Cray Flow
Formed aluminum wheels with staggered Firestone Firehawk ultra
performance tires. Few marques can boast a 50 year history, so the
Corvette's golden anniversary was worthy of celebration. This
