Our 1977 Mercury Cougar XR7 comes to us from California. It is
powered by a 400 cubic inch Ford V8 mated to a 3-speed automatic. I
addition to being a Lipstick Edition (red with red and white trim),
this car is equipped with bucket seats, console, gauge package,
air, power windows and locks, tilt, cruise, and later-model Mercury
alloy turbine wheels. The car has had a very nice repaint in the
