Gateway Classic Cars of Tampa offers this clean 1960 Corvette. 1960
was a carry-over year for the Corvette from a styling and trim
perspective. Yet the Corvette was gaining in sales and
profitability year after year. While Chevrolet saw no need to
fiddle with the styling, they did feel what was under the skin
warranted improvement. For the hi-po "Fuelie" engines, there was
more power and valvetrain upgrades, for the lower level engines
carb and power increases. The chassis the brakes were upgraded and
improvements were made for better handling. This 1960 Corvette has
aged into it's last restoration. The seller claims the car was done
years ago. Now the car presents as a nice survivor, with a healthy
283 V8 backed by a four speed manual. Overall it runs and drives
well. The Horizon Blue paint looks good with only minor flaws in
the usual areas. The chrome is very presentable with few pits and a
good luster. The black interior is rip free and sports an AM/FM
radio or convince. The white roof is solid and overall the car
would make a nice driver or easy restoration project. Hurry and
make this unique 1960 Corvette yours!
