1965 Pontiac GTO- "Restomod"- LS3-530 Horsepower- Tremec 5 Speed-
A/C ! NICE!
The blend of the Classic '65 GTO with the advantage of improved
Performance and Modern Drivability. Overall, this is an excellent
example of a well done, modified GTO that is turn-key ready for
cruise and show events. Our company provided an appraisal of this
GTO twenty years ago before it was sold to the gentleman who
recently passed at 79 years. We are handling the sale for his
estate. The Black Cherry paint is remarkably nice overall and is
still show quality after twenty years, a testament to the
preparation and the quality of the work. The custom graphics
(images of Chief Pontiac) were apparently added later and could be
removed if desired. The family reports that his total investment
was well over $100,000 (recent receipts for over $70,000 within the
last two years and less than 200 miles driven).
A partial list of upgrades (from the receipts) includes:
New 530 Horsepower LS3 Engine
New CVF LS Engine Serpentine Kit
New Tremec TKX 5 Speed Transmission
New Hotchkiss Suspension
New LS Manifold; Hydraulic Release; New Bellhousing; driveshaft;
Hydraulic Clutch
New Custom Exhaust with Ceramic Finish
New Holley Sniper EFI Fuel Management System
New Smoothed Firewall
New Ron Davis Aluminum Radiator
New Dakota Digital Gauges
