Vehicle Description
While the exotic-looking eighth-generation Corvette has been all
the rage in recent years, that means that the classic front-engine
'Vettes are growing more collectible with each passing day. The C4
Corvette, built from 1984 to 1996, was Crossed Flags' entrance into
the modern era of Chevy's flagship. We present to you this 1994
example, painted in an eye-catching original Bright Aqua Metallic.
The added drivers-side red hash marks borrowed from the '96 Grand
Sport, along with the C5 Z06-style 17-inch wheels shod in Firestone
Firehawk 275/40ZR-17 rubber, and the subtle rear-mounted Superman
badge, all hint at the fact that this particular car has a bit of
aftermarket personality imbued in it.
Pop the traditional front-hinged hood, and you'll notice a
multicolored 5.7-liter overhead-value LT1 V-8 that sports an SLP
intake (complete with Superman badge) and a muffler-delete
resonator exhaust setup to give it an unmistakable tone that can
only come from a small-block Chevy. That power is funneled through
a 700R4 four-speed automatic transmission and on through its
original Corvette rear end.
As with any Corvette, it is about more than just going fast in a
straight line. This C4 has an independent front and rear suspension
setup along with power disc front and rear brakes to allow it to
perform in all three phases of automotive performance.

Hop inside this C4, and you'll instantly notice the red seatbelt
pads and console hash marks highlighting the otherwise stock
interior. Flanked by traditional analog gauges, a
black-font-on-orange-backlight early '90s digital speedometer
matches the HVAC readout and the stereo dial. The odometer reads
142,772 miles, which, don't worry, we did the math for you, equates
to just over 7,100 miles per year of use. So, while others are
paying well into six figures with crazy dealer markups for a new
C8, come on down and check out this classic front-engine C4,
because it can provide just as many smiles per gallon for a
fraction of the price.
