$85,000 invested in this 1965 GT, and with the guidance from a
Mustang Club of America "Gold Card" judge, it's clear that no
expense was spared in this restoration. Under the hood is a
tidy-looking 289 cubic-inch V8 with plenty of polish on the valve
covers, air grabber and it's mated to an easy to drive C4 automatic
transmission. The cabin features front bucket seats and a fold-down
rear bench trimmed in red luxury pony Interior. Equipment includes
a floor mounted shifter with a center console, red pony-branded
floor mats, power steering, power brakes with disc in the front,
and cold blowing factory air conditioning. The wood-rimmed,
three-spoke steering wheel frames the 1966 style gauges that
include a 140-mph speedometer flanked by gauges for fuel level, oil
temperature, oil pressure, battery voltage, and the upgrade of the
Rally Pac gauges the include a 6k-rpm tachometer and a clock. The
five-digit mechanical odometer shows 8k miles, although true
mileage is unknown. This Mustang is a multiple show winner that is
ready to show or drive anywhere!
