Gateway Classic Cars Milwaukee is excited to present this 1972
Chevrolet Corvette Stingray. The Corvette is as American as apple
pie. With over 60 years of production and eight design changes the
Corvette has withstood the test of time. In 1953 the first Corvette
rolled off the assembly line becoming the most popular sports car
in history. The excitement continues as the first mid-engine
Corvette rolled of the assembly line in 2020.This documented
one-owner 1972 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray is painted in its
original War Bonnet yellow with a black vinyl interior. The Vette
sits on its original rally wheels with raised white letter tires.
Under the hood is a 350CID/ 200 horsepower engine with a 4bbl
Rochester Type Quadra-jet model 4MV carburetor. All attached to a
Turbo Hydra-Matic 400 three-speed transmission. This 1972 Corvette
is nicely optioned with power steering, power brakes,
tilt/telescopic steering wheel, and T-Tops. An AM/FM/cassette radio
was added at some point. Consignor notes that he has the original
radio. Upon request the consignor does have an extensive list of
work done to the Corvette over the years.
