Beautiful classic, fun & sporty, runs great.
original 289-8 was rebuilt when I purchased in 1989. Maybe 10,000 miles after the rebuild. Transmission has been rebuilt & everything else has been replaced, from the radiator, to the starter, to the water pump, fuel pump, etc. after market AC installed, a replica of the original under dash. Heavy duty radiator & an overflow reservoir installed for long drives. Much of the interior has been replaced. Original seats and headliner, still in good shape. I always get thumbs up & compliments every outing. It’s ready to drive & enjoy, nothing needs to be done now. I would probably repaint it, as the only paint job I got it wasn’t great & is flaking in a couple spots. You could touch-up & still good. The original color was dark blue too.
