KC Classic Auto is proud to present this INCREDIBLE 1976 Eldorado
Convertible, A.K.A. El!One of the most solid, original body panel
Eldorados we have ever seen! The same family owned this car for the
past 29 years, adding only 17k miles over that time. The car
currently only has 71k original miles! The previous owner
maintained the vehicle with an open checkbook. In 2012, the
steering stabilizer and ball joints were replaced. In 2015, the
radiator, steering damper and water pump were replaced, air shocks
were installed in the back, and the A/C system was rebuilt. In
2020, close to $10,000 was spent replacing all the carpet/floor
mats, sill plates, chrome molding, weatherstripping refinishing the
steering wheel, getting a new Retrosound AM/FM and Bluetooth radio
installed, new rear speakers installed , 4 new tires, convertible
well liner & drain trough replaced, new half shafts, all fluids
flushed and changed, cap/rotor/ignition coil replaced, new spark
plugs/wires, carburetor rebuilt, new exhaust, front shocks, upper
ball joints, convertible top latches, etc. In the past couple
months, the Hydroboost brake booster was rebuilt, speedometer cable
was replaced, power steering gear box was replaced, driver seat
motor was replaced, driver side window motor was replaced, and
convertible top relay was replaced. The factory Firethorn paint is
in great shape with a few minor scratches and spots of touch up
paint (see photos). The original white leather interior with
firethorn carpet is also in great shape for its age, with a little
wear showing (see pictures). The convertible top is newer and is in
great shape overall. The car drives excellent and everything works
