Chevrolet Impala SS Convertible. This is a true SS but the cowl tag
and vin-plate do not reflect that. It was wrecked in the side about
30 years ago. A Friend of mine and a friend of the former owner
ended up with the car and started rebuilding it. He had cut the
body in half. The tail section had no damage from the accident and
the frame was not hurt. He had started putting another cowl and
floor pan on the car and then he passed away and his son ended up
with the car. It sat in a barn until I got it a few months ago. I
had been trying to buy it for years. I did not like the cowl
section that he was putting on the project and I bought another
body with a good cowl and floor pan and had it installed on the
tail section . It was a professional installation. Then I bought
another 64 Impala hardtop project that had new front fenders and a
new hood and put those parts on the car. That is where it sets
today. I purchased a 64 Pontiac convertible parts car to get the
top of the windshield post and chrome around the windshield. You
can tell by the moldings on the rear quarters that it was a true SS
car. It is a project well worth finishing.....This is a great
project that comes with SS seats. I feel that my price of $15,000
(REDUCED DOWN FROM $20,000) is very realistic for a classic vehicle
like this one with the potential that this vehicle has. We offer a
90 day lay away on many of our vehicles. Just break the cost of the
vehicle into 4 equal payments 30 days apart, and then you can take
