Gateway Classic Cars of Dallas is ecstatic to showcase this 1973
Datsun 240Z. When the 240Z Datsun hit the scene in 1970 it was an
immediate success. Growing in both rarity and popularity, these
cars are climbing the ladder to some of the most desirable import
classic cars in the market. Built before the American transition
between the name change of Datsun to what is now known as Nissan,
these cars were a true symbol to the Japanese muscle car era. This
was the newly designed body style donning the name "Fairlady" in
Japan, this was the first generation of the Z cars produced in the
American Market. This 2.4L I-6 is backed up by a 4-speed manual
transmission, to allow ultimate control. A lot of these cars in the
overseas market during this era came standard with a manual since
it was believed very strongly that the driver should maintain
almost all control of the vehicle. The interior is lined in a
beautiful leather seating to give you the most comfort available.
The short wheelbase and power to weight ratio combine to make a
great handling little sports car that you would be hard pressed to
find in this condition today. We do believe that there has been a
paint job in this car's recent past to bring it to the gloss
Metallic White paintwork you see before you. Other equipment
includes modern stereo and a combination cloth, vinyl interior and
custom wheels. To view this 1973 Datsun 240Z in greater detail,
