Gateway Classic Cars Houston Showroom is proud to offer this
beautiful 1971 Chevrolet Chevelle for sale. This Chevelle is
finished in the original Classic Copper with Black SS Stripes.Under
the hood is what appears to be its original LS5 454: the number
stamped into the block pad is 11R104062 (the last 8 digits of the
VIN are 1R104062). The mighty 454 is enhanced with MSD ignition,
MSD fuel injection and a high-rise Edelbrock aluminum intake
manifold. Behind the big block is a Tremec 6-speed manual
transmission. Other options include air conditioning (R134a), AM/FM
radio, power front disc brakes with drilled rotors, power steering,
GM 12-bolt rear end with 3.70:1 gears and a limited slip
differential. The interior was recently redone: the original
Sandalwood synthetic leather seating, tan door panels, and beige
carpet were swapped out for new black synthetic leather seating,
door panels, dash, seatbelts, and carpet, which better complement
the black SS stripes on the hood. This bad boy is packing plenty of
power, and with its 6-speed manual, fuel injection, and cold A/C,
it's one heck of a car show cruiser. Not many chose the Classic
Copper paint in 1971, so you'll definitely have a conversation
starter! Don't miss out on this one - call or email our Houston
Showroom today!
