1971 Mercury Cougar Convertible This 1971 Cougar convertible was
built in Dearborn Michigan in the month of May 1971 and the car
still checks all the boxes on the Marti Report, with the exception
of the wire wheel covers, it now rides on a set of OEM styled
wheels. The bright red paint job is exceptional (on a rust-free
body) convertible top is like new, the interior is hard to fault as
well. It is still powered by its original drivetrain, numbers
matching 351 CI Cleveland V-8 mated to a three-speed automatic
transmission with a 2.75 rear end with limited slip ......a really
strong runner. Power steering, power brakes, disc in the front,
factory a.m. radio, power convertible, top bucket seats, and more.
Turnkey condition, everything is operating as it should, nothing to
do here but drive and enjoy it or take it shows where it's sure to
do well.
