Take a look at this amazing 2008 Chevrolet Corvette Indy 500 Pace
Car Replica! It's hard to believe that the Corvette was selected as
the Indy 500 pace car for the 12th time in 2008. In honor of this
achievement, Chevrolet created a limited edition of 500-pace car
replicas. This option includes the Z51 handling package, a Z06
style spoiler, dual-mode exhaust, forged chrome wheels, Indy 500
embroidered seats, and each car is numbered and signed by Emerson
Fittipaldi.
This particular car is one of the first Indy 500 Pace Car Replicas
ever produced and is number 16 of the 500 made, which makes it
highly sought after. You'll notice that it doesn't have the Indy
500 graphics on the outside, as it was ordered without them. The
interior features two-tone titanium trim, a heads-up display, a
Bose sound system, and several other options listed in the 3LT
Preferred Equipment Group. When you start the car, you can choose
to tone down the exhaust or let it roar and enjoy the beautiful
sound of the motor. The 6.2L LS3 engine produces 436hp and is
paired with a 6-speed automatic transmission that can also be
paddle-shifted while taking tight turns.
