brand of Cadillac that ran from 1927 through 1940 model years. The
LaSalle name came from a French explorer who settled in North
America in the 1600's. This LaSalle looks very regal in its DuPont
"Diamond Black" paintjob. From the hood ornament all the way back,
the body lines and styling on this LaSalle make it very clear that
you're looking at a luxury vehicle. The frame-up restoration on
this vehicle took two years according to the seller's records and
it's evident that not many details were missed on this beautiful
Cadillac. Under the huge hood is the rebuilt Cadillac cast iron
Flathead 322 CID V8 engine with a Carter 2bbl carburetor. The
3-speed "Synchromesh" manual transmission with the shifter on the
column provides necessary propulsion for this 1938 Cadillac,
meaning that you won't have to double clutch this LaSalle when
changing gears. The interior has also been restored to mostly
factory specifications in Tan/Gray striped broad cloth material on
the front and rear bench seats. New glass and rubber has been
fitted in every window and a wiring harness installed under the
dash keeps the electronics in order. A full instrument cluster,
again in stock style, helps with the authentic finish of this 1938
Cadillac LaSalle. This splendid vehicle has been restored nicely
and is ready to show off at your local car show, take on a weekend
