Released by public demand after the successful concept unveiling at
the Detroit Auto Show, MaxMotive is pleased to present the 2008
Dodge Challenger SRT8 First Edition. This is number 1545 out of the
production run of 6400 units. This superior example has logged a
mere 1367 miles since it left the plant in June of 2008. It has
since been meticulously preserved and presents as new. The
Challenger SRT8 is a delightful combination of performance and
luxury features. The performance reputation of the 6.1L Hemi is
well-documented, with a rated 425 horsepower just like the
legendary 426 street Hemi. It works smoothly with the 5-speed
automatic transmission, which can be shifted manually if the mood
strikes. Brembo anti-lock performance brakes with slotted rotors
and red calipers provide exceptional stopping power. The rich Hemi
Orange Pearlcoat exterior paint celebrates the Hemi heritage. The
carbon fiber pattern hood stripes recall the hood treatment of a
1970 Challenger R/T. The car is exceptionally comfortable with a
carbon weave leather wrapped tilt/telescoping steering wheel and
heated premium leather SRT seats with suede style inserts to keep
you in position. Along with air conditioning and power windows,
locks and mirrors, are special features such as the 522 watt Kicker
sound system. It includes 13 high performance speakers and a trunk
mounted subwoofer. This system will reveal the true quality of the
audio source. A satellite-ready touchscreen system with navigation
provides control along with UConnect Voice Command with Bluetooth
and USB and aux inputs. There's also a power sunroof and Homelink
garage door opener. You'll also discover delightful details such as
high intensity discharge headlamps, Tip Start, lighted visor
mirrors, and the SRT spoiler (which is slightly larger than the R/T
spoiler). There's even a rear-seat armrest with cupholders. It
rides on forged Alcoa SRT design 20-inch wheels wrapped in
staggered Goodyear F1 Supercar ultra-performance tires. A milestone
in modern Mopar muscle, this 2008 Dodge Challenger SRT8 First
Edition is an all-original, low-mileage collectible. Please be sure
