Exterior

The seller identified some scratches in the paint but no dents or chips. A rear trunk spoiler from a 1974 2002 Turbo was added along with a performance exhaust. The seller replaced the floor and trunk pans and remediated any rust. The window seals show no leaks. The chassis photos do show some surface oxidation. This 2002tii has new OEM front-disc/rear-drum brakes on all four wheels, and new shocks. The Italian-made Minilite-style wheels do not show any curb rash and exhibit some flaking of the wheels’ finish. The tires are General Altimax RT43 sized 175/70R13 with 2019 DOT date codes.
Interior
The interior is upholstered in black vinyl and seats are all original. The original plastic “bus” steering wheel was replaced with a wood-rimmed sport steering wheel (The original wheel is included). The carpet has no holes or worn areas with new floor mats. The dash has a fabric cover and could not be assessed from photos for any cracks. All the gauge’s function, and photos show some oxidation near the rims. The glove compartment also shows some oxidation. There is no sagging of the headliner and dome lights were not tested.
Mechanicals
This BMW 2002tii has the original fuel-injected M10 2.0-liter OHC inline-four and has never been rebuilt. The seller reports no leaks, and the four-speed manual transmission shifts normally.
