$45,000 FOR THIS GORGEOUS CLASSIC CAR!
GREAT PRICE FOR A GREAT CAR...
A VERY SPECIAL THUNDERBIRD, CARED FOR IN A VERY SPECIAL WAY, SEEKING A NEW HOME...
FINISHED IN BEAUTIFUL RAVEN BLACK WITH MANY DESIRABLE FACTORY OPTIONS...
- Acquired from Amos Minter Thunderbirds (noted for his high-quality first-generation Thunderbird restorations) twelve years ago, the car has been meticulously maintained and kept in a climate-controlled garage. In fact, the car is surrounded by a heavy-gauge vinyl cocoon to protect it from dust and air-borne pollutants.
- It has been rarely driven yet serviced regularly and detailed often to preserve its stunning appearance.
- Equipped with the powerful 312 cubic-inch V8 and three-speed Fordomatic automatic transmission, the car accelerates briskly, handles well, and stops quickly.
- It is believed that the excellent condition of the car is the result of it receiving fastidious care since it was new; and the indicated mileage is believed to be accurate.
- Recent servicing included replacement of the shock absorbers, water pump and a re-cored radiator, flushing/adjustment of the transmission, and front wheel alignment. Also replaced: the driver's-side wind wing (its chrome-plated surround was a bit pitted); the chromed tail-light bezels; the back-up light switch; the brake master cylinder; the starter solenoid; and the parking light-bulb receptacles.
- The white vinyl soft-top is in excellent condition, as is the black hardtop (with portholes, of course). A special dolly/carrier for the hardtop will be included.
- The interior was professionally re-done with the correct NOS and reproduction materials, and includes a beautifully refinished steering wheel, new padded sun visors, power windows, and an operating Town and Country AM radio.
- The trunk area was reupholstered with NOS material and includes a correct spare tire, bumper jack, tonneau cover, and picnic bag.
- The engine compartment has recently been completely detailed, and includes an OEM - looking battery and the engine dress-up kit, which includes cast aluminum ribbed valve covers and a chrome-plated air cleaner and oil breather cap.
- Additional factory options include the See-Clear windshield washer system, power brakes and power steering, and back-up lights.
I have been finding new homes for classic and vintage automobiles for twenty years, and occasionally I am retained to provide that service for a car which holds special and personal interest to me. This Thunderbird is such a car. At the age of eight years, I had the wonderful opportunity to go for a breathtaking ride in a brand-new 1957 Thunderbird, identical in every respect to this one. Unforgettable. And I now have the honor and privilege to offer this work of art to a new guardian who will, hopefully, treasure it as its current owner has.
I encourage seriously interested parties to contact me to discuss the car in detail and arrange for an inspection and test drive.
