Gateway Classic Cars of San Antonio/ Austin is happy to offer this
custom 1930 Ford Model A Pickup. The Great Depression was right
around the corner, but Henry Ford was in full swing putting out
several different variations of his Model A, one of which we have
here. This custom Model A Pickup is mostly original steel, with the
exception of the rear fenders, and is custom through & through.
Powered by a Chevrolet 350CID small block and a TH350 automatic
transmission, this is one that is ready to be taken to the next
level! The Chevy 350 is topped with an aluminum Edelbrock intake
and an Edelbrock AVS2 carb, chromed alternator, headers, upgraded
distributor & wires, billet pullies, electric fan and a set of
old-school finned valve covers complete the look under the louvered
hood. Front disc/drum rear brakes have been upgraded for more
stopping power, traction bars and coil overs in the rear are
assisting the 10 bolt rear end, putting the power on the ground
with a super cool looking set of Weld aluminum wheels. The interior
screams old-school as well, with a blood red vinyl bench & the
hi-boy automatic gear shift, custom steering wheel, vented
windshield that opens and some updated instrumentation. This is one
of those trucks you rarely see out on the show circuit and is just
waiting for someone to take it home!
