My husband purchased the car in 1986 and it has been garaged since. The engine is original with original 3 speed overdrive transmission. The engine was completely rebuilt in 1989, probably less than 8,000 miles ago, and was blueprinted and balanced. The paint and interior were just renewed when he bought the car but that was 26 years ago. It still looks great. There is minor cracking and blistering of the paint. All the glass is in great shape, except the passenger side is cracked and needs to be replaced. The top is the removable hard top - it does not have the soft top. The clock does not work. The original town and country radio works - it was 'overhauled' in 1989. The chrome is good. Air conditioning was added when the engine was rebuilt. It is a reproduction version of the original add-on air from Frigette Corp, and has a modern day compressor. The interior is clean and in good condition, with the exception of the foam in the seat - it is beginning to crumble. The radiator was cleaned and repaired in 2009; front brake pads and rotor were replaced in 2003; new battery in 2008. Houston Auto Appraisers conducted a certified valuation and their conclusion was $38,943.00 Actual Cash Value.
