This 1968 Chevrolet Camaro SS Tribute is an awesome build with a
bold style, a serious 454 big block upgrade, and the control of
four-on-the-floor. It makes for the kind of coupe that can really
live up to your love for this legend.
This Camaro keeps the classic style we love with details like
bright chrome bumpers, good trim, and 14-inch rally wheels. But
there's plenty of attitude in the mix too. After all, the custom
fiberglass hood with Corvette-inspired stinger is a very
cool/custom way to announce its big block upgrade while still
staying true to the Chevy family. Red looks quite sporty on a
sports car especially when it's a later respray that keeps it
looking attractive. It doesn't get too fancy with the finish, but
it gives you a nice gloss while also keeping a true cruiser
attitude. After all, you have a great Super Sport style with the
blackout grille, chin spoiler, SS badges, full-width rear spoiler,
and correct blackout rear panel of a big block Camaro.
The all-black interior sets the right tone you want in a driver's
coupe. There's a clean dark presentation on the seats, door panels,
and carpeting. You can tell this is a driver's car by the way it
makes you a priority. Your left hand will feel the grip of the
three-spoke steering wheel, and your right hand will be attracted
to the Hurst shifter. And the auxiliary gauge trio will keep
informing you what's happening under the hood.
It's always great to see a Camaro engine bay filled with proper big
block power. The motor looks nice with details like the bright
valve covers, matching air grabber, and orange painted block. But
our favorite part might just be the callout decals. Because while
this says 396, it's actually a LARGER 454 cubic-inch V8. Not only
does it have an upgraded displacement, but it's a performance-built
package that includes Edelbrock four-barrel carburetor w/electric
choke, an Assault Racing intake, and long tube headers feeding the
dual exhaust and Flowmaster mufflers. The full package wants you to
get the right classic feeling for these components, and so the
four-speed manual transmission puts you in direct control of the
motor. And the driving experience is quite vintage, but wide tires
and front disc brakes give you the proper confidence on the
road.
This is the cool Camaro with a bold style and unfiltered big block
experience that makes for the kind of car that lets you feel what
it was like to rule the blacktop back in the day. Call today!!!
