Gateway Classic Cars of Atlanta is proud to represent this cool,
very original 1968 Ford F100 Long Bed Pickup! The Ford F-Series is
a series of light-duty trucks marketed and manufactured by Ford
since the 1948 model year. Introduced in 1967, the fifth-generation
F-series pickup was built on the same platform as the 1965 revision
of the fourth generation. Dimensions were increased, engine options
were expanded, and plusher trim levels became available during the
fifth generation's production run. This particular 1968 Ford F100
was a recent "barn find" that has gone through a full mechanical
rebuild. Powering this awesome F100 is a fully rebuilt 390ci V8
mated to a fully rebuilt 3-speed column shift manual transmission.
Additional work included a suspension rebuild, full brake system
rebuild, full fuel system rebuild, and various rewire jobs such as
gauges, lights, and a modern radio/speakers. While the exterior
retains its original patina, the interior has been refreshed with a
nicely reupholstered bench seat, carpet, dash pad, door panels,
headliner, sun visors, and other odds and ends. Additional features
on this truck include Power Brakes, Power Steering, Aftermarket
Radio, and Factory Hub Caps.If you're in the market for a carefully
restored fifth gen Ford F-Series truck, this 1968 F100 Long Bed is
one to consider!
