Gateway Classic Cars of Atlanta is proud to present this 1966
Pontiac GTO. Sporting a beautiful Red paint job with Black bucket
seats with center console paired with a Black dash and carpet, this
'66 GTO is ready for a night on the town. Now I might be a little
strange, ok, a lot, but the real beauty in this sweet ride is the
drive train. When I was young and roaming the streets looking for a
race or trouble there were two three letter words that always
caused panic. The first word was "cop" the second was just as scary
"GTO". Putting the power to the wheels is a LS2 6.0 Liter 90-degree
V8 backed by a automatic transmission. The 6.0-liter V8 LS2 engine
was produced by General Motors for use in performance vehicles and
sports cars. It is part of GM's Gen IV Small Block engine family
and was first introduced in the 2005 Chevrolet Corvette C6,
Chevrolet SSR and the Pontiac GTO. With all the power at the pedal
you can rest assured that when you need to speedy on by the
slowpoke parking in the fast lane you will have no issues showing
them your taillights! The engine compartment is clean and tidy, and
all wires are well routed. This GTO has had a couple of upgrades
and power front and rear disc brakes leading the way in the safety
department. Face it this big girl needs good brakes. Driving the
car is a joy. It is quick and responsive and handles well and I
didn't notice any unnecessary squeaks, rattles or mystery noises
but then I might have been paying attention to the exhaust note.
With that, who needs a radio? Options on this 1966 Pontiac GTO
include: Air Conditioning, AM/FM Radio, Custom Wheels, Power
Brakes, Power steering, Air Ride Suspension, and Seat Belts.
