The one to have!!!! Fresh rotisserie restoration on this 1970 Chevelle SS Convertible. Car is breath taking and a one of a kind.
THE MOTOR 396/350 bored .30 over and rebuilt to factory specs. Many chrome and billet parts have been added to engine to include: Holley 650 dual feed carb, Edlebrock intake, Tuff Stuff power steering pump and water pump, all pulleys are either billet or polished aluminum, alternator, billet HEI distributor, billet air cleaner, Stainless braided hoses and fuel lines,brand new 4 core aluminum radiator with dual electric fans, Dynaflow ceramic headers.
THE DRIVETRAIN Fresh 400 Turbo Hudramatic, 3:70 posi rear with custom stainless 2.5 inch exhaust with Flowmaster 40’s.
THE WHEELS Chip Foose 17” Nitro polished aluminum wheels with Z rated Goodyear 225x17 front and 255x17 rear tires
THE BRAKES Wilwood 4 wheel disc with zinc plated (no rust) drilled and slotted 12 inch rotors and polished calipers and Tuff Stuff chrome 9inch booster.
THE SUSPENSION Air Ride Technologies Strong Arm. Bags on all corners and all control arms and stabilizers replaced with the air ride components. Compressor is mounted in the custom finished trunk and is painted to match the car. System is controlled from a console mounted digital display. Each air bag can be controlled individually from the drivers seat. Unbelievable ride and handling !!
THE INTERIOR . One word describes it….WOW !. Factory interior was completely removed and a brand new interior was designed and installed. Consists of front and rear bucket seats with 6 way power on both front seats. Billet handles and knobs replace all factory items. Custom built console with gauges, 4 billet cup holders, billet side pane lights, factory type horseshoe shifter and air ride controller all incorporated in console and cover with the blue leather to match the seat inserts. Mercedes Benz carpet throughout. Rear speakers incorporated in the middle of the rear seat. Custom made floor mats for show. All new side glass. New dash panel and pad installed as well as AM/FM/MP3 radio with 10 disc CD changer mounted in trunk. Billet Specialties steering wheel with half-wrap to match seats. This interior draws people like a magnet!! You won’t and haven’t seen one like it.
SUMMARY This car is the quality that you would see at Barrett-Jackson auction. It is as immaculate underneath as it is on top. It will win any show it is entered in. Has only been in one show since completed and it took Best of Show.
