This is a 1948 Ford Custom Convertible frame off restoration with 4,000 miles since completion. The hood and trunk have been shaved. The headlights, tail lights, and turn signals have been frenched. This has a Mercury Flathead that had been ported, polished and relieved. It has aluminum heads and intake manifold with a 4 barrel Holley carburator. Vehicle has dual exhaust with Porter glass packs. The transmission is a manual overdrive transmission out of a 1953 Ford. The rear end is a Ford 9 inch with parallel leaf springs. The front axel is stock with disc brakes and the front crossmember has been lowered in the chasis. This vehicle has been changed to an alternator with 12 volts - all wiring has been completely replaced. Has also been fitted with a power electric top. The dash appears to be stock, but has a new blau plunk AM/FM casette radio installed. The seats are vinyl/cloth combination. All upholtery is new, including the top. Tires are new. All new tinted glass has been added to the car. This was built to be a driven show car. The building of this car was meticulous from top to bottom by the owner.
