This is the project car you have been looking for! So many possibilities - can restore to original, resto mod, or go pro touring! True GTO with PHS documentation. Professionally rebuilt 4 speed Muncie with zero miles. Originally cameo ivory with black interior. Car was blast to drive and engine ran great before started disassembling car to restore. Love this car but don’t have time or energy for another project car and want the garage space.
Very solid car and great set of bones with no surprises. 4 speed Muncie was rebuilt by top notch shop a couple years ago (no miles on it). Griffin radiator (2017) with built in fans is guaranteed to keep it cool. 400 is from a 71 Pontiac. Only issue with engine was rear seal leak and was struggling with hot start issue. I’d recommend rebuilding it to be safe as not sure when it was last rebuilt. Also replaced steering box and some other steering components when I first bought in 2017. Driveshaft also rebuilt in 2018.
Was last running in 2018. Started restoration process / disassembly and removing primer to evaluate body then got pulled to another project. Has been stored in garage since. Probably wouldn’t take long to get it running / driving again.
Needs some metal repairs like work on quarters, tail light panel, trunk pan (probably full but maybe not). Couple very small patches in floor pan under pedals and rear seat. See pics. Multiple restoration shops have seen it and were impressed by the car and agreed it is worth restoring. Door jambs and other typical “major” problem areas are solid!
Have original seats but need to be restored along with interior.
