Super rare, 1 of only 5 ever made - 1970 Q-code 428ci Cobra Jet V8 Convertible breathes through a four-barrel carburetor and was factory rated at 335 horsepower and 440 lb-ft of torque.
"According to the 428 Cobra Jet Registry, this is an extremely rare Mustang." adding, "Only 47 428 Cobra Jet convertibles were produced in 1970, and of those, only five were Q-codes.
This 1970 Ford Mustang convertible is finished in red over a matching interior and is powered by a 428ci Cobra Jet V8 paired with a C6 three-speed automatic transmission and 3.00:1 Traction-Lok differential. Features include a powered white convertible soft top, air conditioning, a push-button AM radio, a hood scoop, power steering, power front disc brakes, and 15″ Magnum 500 wheels. The car was acquired by the seller in 2015 and relocated to California. Subsequent work consisted of replacing the dashboard, windshield, and reverse lamp and a brake system service in 2021.
15″ Magnum 500-style wheels wear prancing horse center caps and are mounted with 225/60 BFGoodrich Radial T/A white-letter tires.
