1970 Ford Torino Convertible
429 Cobra Jet Ram-Air.Shaker Hood,4Spd Close Ratio, N-case 31 Spline 350 Posi Rear, Staggered Shocks,Tach,Bucket Seats, Console,PS,PB, AM-FM stereo, Laser Stripe. Ther were only 3,939 Torino Convertibles Built in 1970.Only 64 had the 429 Cobra Jet option. 27 were 4Spds and 37 were Automatic Transmissions.This car is a recreation selecting the most desirable options and colors. It is a rotisseri restoration on a perfect rust free body. No rust or patching anywhere. It was built to Ford specifications using all the correct parts.Every thing has been restored right down to the seat frames.The motor was redone and broken in on a Dyno. It tested at 402 HP and 409 lbs of torque. This is a no expence spared restoration on a perfect rust free body,The bottom of the car is painted to match Red oxide primer, The flash of the camera makes it appear to be red. I have been a colector of Torino s for 30 years and this is the best one I ve ever seen or had. It s first show was a Mustang- Ford only show and it recieved a Concours Gold Award. Its second show and top award was winning Best of class at the 2009 Concours-d-Elegance show at Hilton Head Island. It is a fresh restoration, only 5 months old with only 26 miles on it.
