muscle car era manufacturers had to get creative to combat the
encroaching government regulations and gas crisis. For many buyers
the enormous displacement engine options just weren't viable. For
these types of buyers Oldsmobile introduced the Cutlass S to
provide all the style and flair of a big block muscle car but with
a more livable drivetrain. This 1972 example is looking fun and
