This beautiful car has only 77,300 miles, and we are the second owners - it was purchased by my father in 1973 from a local business owner as a gift to my mother when the car was approximately six months old. The car is a completely original Eldorado Convertible with the exception of new floor carpet (same color as factory) and the re-upholstering of the upper interior door panels sometime in the mid 1980’s. 501 Cubic Inch V-8 engine, power windows, power door locks, dual power seats, tilt/telescopic steering wheel, cruise control, power antenna, automatic climate control, factory AM/FM Stereo with fully functional 8-Track tape player, auto headlamps, auto delay lamps, power trunk release, trunk mat, fiberglass parade boot cover, and more. This beautiful Eldorado has always been parked inside the garage away from the elements and is totally original and has never been involved in a collision. Driven very sparingly, this car is an absolute joy to drive! You literally float over the road with the powerful 501 cubic inch engine awaiting your next command. Approximately 3-4 years ago we had the fuel tank removed, cleaned and relined, installed new fuel lines along with other general maintenance work. Please note, that this is an unrestored, fully original car, not a show car – it has a few cosmetic flaws here and there but the body and paint are in truly great shape (the plastic bumper to body filler areas on the front and rear do need to be replaced however). As the saying goes, a car can be restored a hundred times, but it’s original only once. It is a prime candidate for a car collector. This car is very difficult to let go, however it doesn’t do any good just to let it sit parked. Hopefully a buyer who recognizes the beauty of this fine vehicle will bring her the love an attention she deserves.
